National Print Media Contest “Zolotaya Litera” (Golden Letter)
The Zolotaya Litera National Print Media Contest is held in Belarus every year. The contest is organized by the Belarusian Ministry of Information.
The primary objective of the Contest is to facilitate in every possible way the development of Belarusian print mass media, to promote those subject areas of print media activities that are significant for the implementation of the state information policy, to improve professionalism and quality of ideological content in print media, to encourage creativity of journalists and other creative specialists engaged in producing print media.
Those willing to participate can submit materials in any category without restrictions.
The judges review the results and choose winners in each of the categories. The winners are awarded with diplomas and memorable signs - symbols of the Zolotaya Litera Contest.
Participation is open to print media, news agencies registered in the Republic of Belarus, press services of national administrative bodies and organizations, as well as individuals (on the initiative of a print medium, information agency, administrative body or organization).
